Exercise isn't all misery and excruciatingly long cardio marathons. It should be fun and uncomplicated. The more enjoyable it is, the more likely you are to stick with it! Instead of skipping another 5am workout class, bring a sense of playfulness to your routine and work out as the kids do.
1.) Hula Hooping
Get those hips movin’ and shakin’! Hooping for 30 minutes will get your heart pumping and target those pesky trouble areas: your belly, butt and thighs.
When it doubt, dance it out. Turn on your favorite tunes and shake it like you did when you were a kid, dancing around in your PJs, singing into a hairbrush. Just don’t let your little ones catch you. They won’t ever let you live it down.
3.) Monkey Bars
Goof off at the local playground and let your feet dangle as you swing from bar to bar. Try some basic pull-ups, and it you’re feeling daring, flip upside down and do some sit-ups!
4.) Hop Scotch
Break out the sidewalk chalk and hop from number to number. You’ll build strength, work on your balance, and freshen up on counting from 1-10!
